Tauhida Parveen: Take your exercise routine outside

Spring began last week. In Florida, we may not feel much of a difference, but in other parts of the country people have been cooped up indoors for the whole winter. They can’t wait to get to the sunny, comfortable outdoors. Spring also means bathing suits are around the corner, and you want to get your body in shape.

Why not do some exercises outdoors while the weather is nice? There’s nothing like the fresh air, bright sunshine, blooming flowers and singing birds to entice you outside and energize you for exercise. Outdoor exercise can be performed in your backyard, at the beach or at the park. Absorb some vitamin D from the sun and improve your health and mood.
